July QKR Blog Hop

Give Me a Hug!
Hello and welcome to the QKR Stampede July Blog Hop!

If you just happened upon my place in the hop, you'll want to go back to the beginning so you won't miss any of the wonderful projects our Design Team members have created for you. Start by visiting the QKR Stampede Blog.

Today's Blog Hop will introduce the newly appointed members of the QKR Stampede Design Team. We have a variety of projects created by the team members, all designed to showcase the wonderful QKR Stampede digi stamps!

My project is shown above, and directions will follow.

The next person on the blog hop is Jamie Lindstrom

Be sure to wind up at the QKR Stampede Blog and tell us what you thought of the hop - we value your comments. Don't forget to check out the QKR Stampede Store to browse their amazing variety of digi and rubber stamps!

Directions for Give Me a Hug:
Cut a heart shaped basket at 6" with Cricut's Tags and Bags cartridge and adhere sides. Yes, there really is a heart shaped basket behind the green oval - LOL.

Print the Porcupine in the original size. Color with Copics: C00, C1, C3, C5 and RV23. Cut with Oval Spellbinder and sponge inside with Distress Ink Spun Sugar. Cut a larger decorative oval with Spellbinders and adhere all layers.

Cut a flower and leaves with Spellbinders and adhere. Wrap handle with ribbon, and add a bow to the flower. Print the Hug Sentiment, trim, shape, ink edges with Spun Sugar and adhere.

Finish with dots of Stickles and a pearl for the centre of the flower.

How could you possibly not get a hug after presented this basket filled with, perhaps, chocolate kisses?

Thank you for visiting and hope you enjoyed the QKR Stampede Blog hop!
