Winter Deer

This post may take a while to publish as my cat insists on getting between me and screen, but here goes. Today's card is pretty quick to put together because it has no coloring - quite the exception for me, LOL! It features the fabulous SEI paper collection entitled "Winter Song". It might be a bit hard to see in the photo, but the papers are enhanced with flocking, foil and glitter - not to mention stunning designs.

Here's how it came together....
Cut a base to create a card 5 1/4 by 7 1/4 inches;
Cut a contrast rectangle at 5 x 7 inches;
Cut four pieces of coordinating paper and ahere to the contrast piece;
Wrap with ribbon, tucking ends underneath;
Adhere to card front;
Cut a piece of paper, featuring an interesting bit of design, with Sissiz Framelits Labels Collection;
Create a frame out of another piece of the paper with a contrasting color, using the Framelits and adhere those layers to the card;
Cut a Spellbinder label from the contrast card, stamp a sentiment on a lightly colored piece of the paper and adhere all layers to card. This sentiment was heat embossed with VersaMark and StampinUp Cherry Cobler embossing powder;
And you're done - unless you want to add some stickles to the deer...hmmmm.....
